Tab Completion Grade Book

The Tab Completion Grade Book is a free software (released under the GNU GPL) grade book program. The developers wrote it in Java in the Spring 2003 Software Design and Development class at the University of Minnesota, Morris. Features:

arbitrarily nested and weighted assignments
human readable XML file format
multiple courses and students
scores can be fractions
configurable grading scale per course
print per-student summaries
statistics, scatterplots, colors
single student view

To use, make sure you have Java 1.4 or later installed. Then download the .jar file. Then you will need to do something like:

java -jar TabCompletionGradeBook-1.0.jar

to run the program. (This step depends on your operating system. You may have to specify the full path to TabCompletionGradeBook-1.0.jar.)
